Women's empowerment is a simple term, but one which speaks to the holistic demonstration of womanhood's awakening. And an "awakening" it is!
Women's empowerment is a decisive split from the fractured paradigm which is no longer working at any level of effectiveness. As a change-wave, increasingly gaining momentum, it seeks to bring about balance amongst the feminine and masculine forces of nature.
Going beyond gender, this change-wave must reach various levels of humanity globally, resulting in formation of a society which is based primarily on generative, receptive, cooperative, collaborative, heart-centered, spirit-led, and undeniably creative action. Its truest essence can bring evolutionary transformation, as the message of compassion, universal love, healing, and above all, nurturing, are spread, thereby unifying the different forces of nature, including yet not deifying humankind as a master species.
While focusing on several issues which are well-related to women's discrimination and marginalization is imperative, and inarguably all these issues need be addressed in an integrated manner, the thrust for change is meritless without starting first with an inner seedling of personal awareness. First and foremost, each must look within. And only after drawing back the curtain to that candid and comprehensive introspection can that focus be re-directed outward towards the masses.
The direction leading towards total women's empowerment is both something of which many have grown weary and simultaneously, is in its early infancy. Development is slow in many parts of the world, including in those so-called developed countries, which upon closer inspection reveals a profound lack of development.
The zeitgeist for mobilizations, mass movements, and campaigns for betterment is at hand. Change MUST happen swiftly and it must happen now, yet not at the expense of others' human rights and dignity. Therein lays the challenging strife for balance. This prospect needs action at legal and government levels, finally resulting in new laws offering genuine rights to women, with priority given politically, socially, and economically. Accordingly, the legal system must be strengthened to eliminate all types of discrimination that exist in society against women, and against any marginalized and/or disenfranchised groups. The factions must be organised, and the strategies and solutions implemented to end gender bias and abuse against women, and indeed against each other human, as well as abuse against the planet.
Community involvement and participation of everyone alike brings about progressive change in community practices and procedures, and ultimately to societal attitudes. A sense of cultural and familial acceptance can transform the weak to strong, and bad to good, via the seemingly magical touch of self-awareness, compassion and love. Bringing in feelings of happiness, freedom, and fun, to enhance the life of a woman to her fullest, helps her spread her wings to fly like a butterfly, and to soar high across the previous possibilities.
Rather than stifling the true power and beauty of a woman, empowering women is aimed to inspire them to break the chains of social and dogmatic beliefs that have long suppressed them. A pertinent need for women's empowerment emerged to address the traditionally masculine-trait competitiveness of nations.
A chance of balance and harmony seems solely dependent upon women's capabilities of cooperation, and collaborative contributions. These supportive, receptive, traditionally feminine traits will result in not only advancement -and more importantly survival of the nations, but in a larger macrocosm, enhancement of the global community and survival of the human race is altered.
Women are now the greatest assets of a cause to save the planet and her inhabitants. Bringing them into the limelight by boosting their abilities which can bring about a change is not only for them, but is at the same time crafting a better society with their change in personal mobility and in social interactions. Everyone benefits.
As each woman begins to realize her individual role in bringing about the calming and soothing effects of the feminine power of womanhood that exists within, no longer will she settle for being perceived and treated as less than. She may even cease to raise her own oppressors.
As each woman consciously begins to rekindle the feminine principles of cooperation and collaboration, and makes clearly visible that feminine power to inhabitants of this world, the transformational shift progresses. In short, when each woman finds and owns her unique voice, her brilliance becomes a beacon for others, offering permission to each to shine her light brightly across the globe too, before it's too late and lights dim eternally.
By starting with conscious awareness, and by consciously deciding who she is, each woman is a light -a ray of possibility that others will follow. With being acutely self-aware at every level, including how she responds to others in any given situation, by simply noticing the whole Self -how she experiences each moment physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, she is an active participant in the new-paradigm shift.
You too are asked to notice, as example, the way you pay attention to how you experience meeting someone new. When meeting other women, does your facial expression most resemble one who smells dog poo on the bottom of her shoe, or are you non-competitive and eager to learn more about her? Do your eyes avert, or are you immediately receptive and connected with the stranger when faced with meeting someone new?
When you notice your whole Self -mind, body, spirit, intellect, without judgment or self-condemnation, you are opening the curtains to awareness. This self-awareness is life changing personally, and on a broader scale, is globally enlightening. It is also the prerequisite for establishing healthy, mutually beneficial conscious connections. Realizing the different and similar challenges each face, opens the communication for cooperative relationship with loved ones, with peers, and with strangers, without taking ownership of their problems. Within your own balanced-beingness, you find ways to co-exist while at the same time giving a different perhaps more expansive meaning to relationships like 'marriage'.
At a personal level, it is necessary to create your safe, secure, and supportive environment at home; further, it is necessary to create a safe, secure, and supportive global environment by voting with your voice and with your dollars, for creation of social and economic policies where all can enjoy rights in all domains of life. Remember what power you have each time you pull a dollar from your wallet, and spend only when your best interests and the best interests of humanity and the globe are considered. You may feel like only one person, but realize you have power in your spending. Claim it, and use it consistently. Own your power at every level, regardless of how small it may feel. One drop at a time or one ocean at a time, pro-active change is made.
No force can pull you backward for any reasons as you have already set your empowering path of self-awareness and self-discovery. Your role modelling is your greatest, most powerful tool against a status quo of imbalance, competition, anger, war, and mass dysfunction. Wear it well. Stand proudly in self-confidence, and own each atom of your women's empowerment. Together, we save the universe. Divided, we fail. It's truly that simple, so with the options in mind, consciously choose where your energy is best invested.
By committing to transform yourself into a supreme force for exhibiting and owning your feminine power, you are a change agent and thought leader to be taken seriously. When identifying with the feminine force of the Universe, as you step into the role of a messenger, you are at the same time spreading the message of action with compassion and love. This leads to salvation and enlightenment for both you personally, and simultaneously for the masses. Individually, and collectively, feminine power principles indeed transform global conditions.
